The name celebrates the tactile quality of flowers and of the House's heritage leathers, all of which are "pleine fleur" ("full grain" in English)—a guarantee of excellence.

The bottle of this new Hermès chypre faithfully reflects Philippe Mouquet's design, asserting its femininity. Graduated shades of pink and orange evoke the floral sensuality of Barénia Pleine Fleur, and the gentle elliptical curves contrast with the pyramid studs on the metal plate.
